WHAT A NIGHT! Call me crazy, but I have not watched La La Land yet! I was rooting for Moonlight, Fences, Lion, and Manchester by the Sea! What do these all have in common? They ALL made me cry! This year was all about the emotion, and boy did they deliver. My boyfriend and I both ugly cried watching the ending of Fences. When Viola cries, I cry. Don’t even get me started on Moonlight! It is amazing! So yes I shrieked when Moonlight was announced as the actual winner for best picture! Ok, but anyway….I think my new cookie tradition for the Oscars is to clone my favorite looks on cookies or something movie related on a cookie. I mean I would have loved to re-create the Moonlight poster, but that is some top notch art! I might just have to try it now. I chose to make my favorite looks. I love the simple dresses and I adore the glam couture Elie Saab dress Janelle Monae wore. I made these on Sweetens Facebook live and they were so fun to make! How fun would it be if I made these on the actual red carpet? :O goals for 2018?! YES!
