Last fall I interned on the t.v. show Rules of Engagement. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had here in L.A. I was a production assistant and had no clue what the entertainment business was about so this was a great way for me to learn about it. I met so many cool and welcoming people, and always looked forward to going in to work. Most people in the office knew I had a business making cookies so they sent me to Rhonda in craft services. She sampled my cookies, and placed orders for special occasions and holidays! The cookies were a hit! There is nothing that I enjoy more than watching people eat my cookies and say “omg, mmm, these are delicious!” Sadly, this was the last season of Rules, but Rhonda ordered for the show Guys with Kids, and a pilot Jacked Up. I am looking forward to baking for more t.v. shows this Fall!
Favorite experience: The Happy Madison Holiday Party!! As some of you may know, Happy Madison is Adam Sandler’s production company and since Rules is a part of HM we were all invited to the holiday party! I brought my cousin Cindy with me and we had a blast. They had seperate rooms for bowling, ice skating, karaoke, dancing, they even had a “concert room”. I saw Tom Morello perform, and met him!Rage Against The Machine is one of my favorite bands! No pictures allowed, but if Tom Morello says it’s ok, then it’s ok. hehe. Other performers were Vanilla Ice, Alice in Chains, Dante, and of course Adam was on stage. Did I mention there was delicious food, and it was open bar? One of the funnest nights of my life! :)
