This year I wanted to make my own birthday cake and I wanted it to be GOOD! I almost opted out and made cookies since I’m basically a pro and everybody loves them. I also wanted to try gluten free dessert, making life difficult per usual. Im embarrassed to admit I used a box cake mix, but it was King Arthur Gluten Flour Cake Mix and it was the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had. It was so moist and was the perfect amount of chocolate. I made a mellow buttermilk chocolate icing for it that was delicious as well. Yes I made cupcakes and two cakes for my birthday, I needed to sample them before!:D My friends and I met at Gracias Madre(vegan), ate our delicious cake(gluten free) and had a great time(no alcohol). I ain’t mad atcha 25! Life couldn’t be better!
